    For Most 15-16″ Lathes with 1″ Diameter Post

    $ 49.00$ 129.00
    25MM POST WARNING: Certain Grizzly, Laguna and other imported lathes may use 25mm posts which are slightly smaller than 1”.  THESE WILL NOT WORK. PLEASE MEASURE YOUR POSTS BEFORE ORDERING. FYI: 25mm = .984”, and 1” = 25.4mm. 25mm posts are available special order. NOTE: For the Oneway 1640, only the Low Profile style rests and 9” J-rest will fit. ANOTHER NOTE:  Some of the 16" Grizzly and Harbor Freight lathes, notably the Grizzly G0462 have very short banjos.  You'll want to order toolrests from the 18-25" page.  Depending on your situation, you may need to trim the post down to length.  A few minutes with a sharp, coarse hacksaw will fix you right up.

    Headstock Limit Switch Disconnect

    $ 40.00
    The headstock limit switch disconnect is a handy option if you are going to take your American Beauty apart to move it.  The function of the limit switch inside the headstock is to sense if the spindle lock is engaged.  If it is, you can’t turn the lathe on.  Disconnecting it is kind of hard, but not impossible.  See the “Moving and American Beauty” document under the “Support” tab above.   Adding this disconnect makes it a snap.  It is neatly out of the way, below and behind the headstock.  Please note, you still must unwire the motor the regular way to remove the headstock.

    Live and Drive Centers

    $ 24.00$ 179.00

    Robust Drive and Live Centers

    Made right here in the Robust shop, Robust ring, or cup-style drive centers are a proven way to safely turn between spindles.  We feature the largest radial thrust bearing used in any commercially available woodturning live center. To adjust or remove the tip, simply loosen the set screw with the provided Allen key.  If the tip doesn't move freely right away, nudge it with a Philips screwdriver through the hollow shaft to get it to move.  Click the items below to learn more.
