The platform rest is great for when you want to hold your tool perfectly flat. It’s especially helpful when using scrapers. You can even use it as a little table to support work if you make a sanding disc to go onto your spindle. Also helpful when laying out lines when doing basket illusion. Platform is 6″ x 4″ (152 x 102mm) and the post is offset to one side.
