Our large square nose scraper is the simple tool you sometimes need. It’s great for trimming surfaces flat on boxes and rims, and can be used to make very nice concave surfaces. Use the corner to make a groove, and the rounded bottom edges let you roll it up at an angle for shear scraping. The stock is 5/16″ thick and a little over 1″ wide. Grind it at at a 7.5 degree angle to raise a slight burr on the top surface. Also available unhandled. The tang rectangular, but designed to fit 5/8″ collets.
