This Digital Readout (DRO) is an optional accessories for new American Beauty lathes, and can be retrofitted onto most American Beauty lathes already in the field.
If you want to purchase one for a retrofit, be sure the black top door on your lathe’s headstock matches the design in the pictures. You’ll notice that the front of the door has a concave curve. If so, you are good to go, but if it is convex, the pieces won’t fit. Retrofitting is easy, please see the instructions below.
