Upgrade your Scout to a 1.5 HP motor, wired to your choice of 110 or 220 volt. If you’re going to routinely turn larger work outboard or just want the extra power for material removal, you’ll want to select the 1.5 HP upgrade. The price for this option is the incremental cost of upgrading from the 1HP inverter and motor provided with the stock Scout. It is much more expensive to make this change later on, as both the motor and inverter need to be swapped out.
