Terms and Conditions

Prices. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars, and reflect our most recent pricing schedule. Typographical errors are subject to correction.

Sales Tax.  Sales tax is not charged to orders outside of Wisconsin. Sales within Wisconsin are subject to sales tax on order total, including any shipping charges.

Payment Terms. Unless agreed to beforehand, payment is to be made in advance of shipment by credit card, check, money order, or cash.  Lathes are made to order and require a 50% down payment.

Shipping. All Products are shipped FOB Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin 53572 to the Buyer's address. Orders under 150 lbs. are shipped Parcel Post or UPS Ground. Orders in excess of 150 lbs. will be shipped prepaid freight by a commercial carrier to a commercial location.  Home delivery with a lift gate can also be arranged.

All Robust shipments are insured. All shipments should be inspected immediately. If there is damage to the shipment, have the carrier make a written note of the damage. All damage claims must be filed by the consignee (you). Robust will do everything possible to aid in this process, however, our legal responsibility ends when the carrier signs the bill of lading acknowledging they have received the merchandise in good condition.

Items shipped to destinations outside the U.S. and Canada may have an extra charges. Overseas orders must be paid for by charge card and taxes & duty will be charged when due.

Warranty.  Please see our warranty page for a full description of our seven year warranty.

Cancellation. You many cancel your order for stock products at any time.  Any down payment will be refunded to you less any credit card fees. Cancelled orders for custom products may be subject to costs incurred prior to the cancellation, including any credit card fees. Lathes are considered custom products.

Delivery dates. Robust will use all reasonable efforts to meet promised delivery dates.

Not For Retail Resale. Customer agrees that he/she is buying for their own use and not for immediate resale as new equipment. Robust has separate terms and conditions governing sales to retailers.
