Trent Bosch: "I have a lot of lathes in my shop and my Robust American Beauty is my favorite, not because I make anything different on it than I would on any of the other lathes, but because of how enjoyable it is to use. The design is so well thought out it just makes it more fun to turn with and at this stage in my woodturning that is really important to me. I am proud to be a Robust distributor because I really believe in the product." Trent Bosch Studios |

Bill Grumbine: "People often write me to ask me since I have turned on just about every lathe that is out there, why did I buy a Robust? My response has always been that I bought a Robust because I have turned on just about every lathe that is out there. Becoming a dealer was the next step. I can now help people realize their dreams of having the best lathe on the market, which makes the experience of turning all that much more fun." Bill is a entertaining and knowledgeable teacher. He does one-on-one instruction in his studio and is a frequent demonstrator at symposiums and club events. His DVD's are also very popular. Wonderful Wood |

JoHannes Michelsen: It has always been my great desire to have and operate with the best tools available for the job at hand, this is why I found it necessary to design and produce my own line of turning tools, HannesTool. It is for this same reason that I was very happy to find my way to the door of Brent English and his fine products and the Robust Lathes. JoHannes is a full time professional woodturner and has been producing wood turned art for over 30 years. JoHannes wears many hats - and is best known for his turned wood hats and the gouges, tool handles and toolrests he uses to make them. He also runs a woodturning school where many beginning and master turners come to learn his turning techniques and catch free tool grind. Hannes Tool |

| Sam Blasco: Samantics Squared is a small artisan shop and art gallery in beautiful, historic Smithville, Texas, just east of Austin, where the Robust lathe (an early long-bed version of our Liberty) is on permanent, and prominent, display. Sam Blasco, the shop's owner, primarily designs and builds studio furniture, where he uses the lathe for parts needed in the furniture he builds, but he also dabbles in spinning objects just for the sake of making something that stands on its own, functional or not. In this picture you can see one of his sink bowls, which links both worlds. It is a stand alone object, but it is also integral to the final piece of furniture, in this case a vanity. Sam also teaches woodworking and lathe work and can be reached here: Samantics Squared 206 Main Street Smithville, TX 78957 Phone: 512-377-9244 www.samantics2.com |
