We call them "Comfort Rests" because your hand fits comfortably in the radius of the rest, whether you use an overhand or underhand grip.

A hardened 1/4" diameter rod is epoxy bedded to the top of the rest to provide a smooth surface that won't nick, ding or ever need filing.

The epoxy bedding is fully guaranteed. If a rod ever comes loose, we'll repair or exchange your damaged rest for at no charge.

Four different sizes are available, 4", 6", 9" and 12". 

Long post versions are just the right length for 20, 24 & 25" lathes (owners of Powermatic 3520's and Oneways are some of our big customers). 

Short post versions fit most 14-18" lathes like Jets and Deltas and 16" Oneway.  All posts are  1" in diameter.

Comfort rests for mini-lathes with a 5/8" post are in the works. We are taking orders for early July delivery. 4", 6" and 9" long rests will be available.
